National Institute of the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Recruitment 2020 for Director General

The Ministry of Rural Development is generally involved in the welfare and development activities of rural people & overall development of our country. Headquarters of the ministry is situated in New Delhi. But, the main goal of the Ministry is to attain complete development of rural India with help of the multi dimensional plan for removing poverty & improving living conditions by offering social safety net, participation in the development programmes, economic growth, reorganisation of planning and more.  The Ministry of Rural Development has recently announced the job notification for the post of Director General, so all the interested candidates have to apply for the post before its last submission date mentioned ahead.

Ministry of Rural Development had invited candidates for filling up this post of the Director General in the National Institute of the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (or NIRD&PR), in Hyderabad (Rs. 80,000/- fixed till 6th CPC) on the deputation basis that was advertised in Employment News on 11-17 h January, 2020. The last date to receive applications was extended to 20th April, 2020 (at 5:30 PM) that was advertised in Employment News 21 to 27th March, 2020. 

Qualification:

Candidates must have Ph.D in Social Science and specialisation in discipline of the rural development or developmental administration from recognised Institute or University Academy. Or Post Graduate of any discipline

Recruitment Method:

Candidate selections will be based on the Direct Recruitment /Deputation

Age limit:

Candidates must have Minimum of 50 years & Maximum of 53 years (relaxable to 5 years for the Govt. Servants)

Age limit for the appointment by Deputation:

Around 58 years on the closing date of the receipt of applications

Job Tenure:

Five years or until he or she attains age of 60, whichever is earlier

Pay Scale:

Salary – Pay Band & Grade Pay (6th CPC) will be Rs. 80,000/- (fixed)
